Onto the internet in 1995. Into AI in 2026.

Three decades, one common thread: translating new technology so that companies can actually do something with it. A short look back — and a look at the wave now rolling in.

When we started out in Frankfurt's creative Osthafen district in 1995, the internet was still a curiosity for most companies. We were among the city's first web agencies — not as a claim, but on the record. We have traded as INSIDE INTERACTIVE GmbH since 1999, and today we are at home in the middle of Frankfurt, in Sachsenhausen.

More than 2,600 projects later

Between then and now lie more than 2,600 delivered projects — from F.A.Z. to Volkswagen, from Longue Vie Hotels to Nexen Tire. What has changed is the tooling. What has stayed the same is the attitude: listen, then get stuck in. Think design, technology and strategy together instead of selling buzzwords.

We don't make claims. Ask the AI.

Why the AI wave is the biggest one

Every technology wave has changed how customers find companies: first the website, then Google, then social media and mobile. Artificial intelligence changes more than the channel — it changes the nature of the answer. Customers no longer get a list of links, they get a recommendation. That is a bigger break than anything before it — and precisely why we founded a brand of its own for it: INSIDE AI.

What this means for you

The good news: the principles that have worked since 1995 still hold. Clarity, reliability, real substance. Only the place where they have to become visible is new. Companies that show up in AI search today gain the same head start that a good website gave companies in the early 2000s.

In 1995 we brought Frankfurt onto the internet. In 2026 we are bringing Frankfurt into AI. If you want to be part of it: let's talk.
